Energy Systems at Our Montabaur Site

Our office and production building in Montabaur is equipped with a heat pump, solar thermal collectors and charging points for electric vehicles.

The site uses electricity from renewable sources. The exact electricity mix and period of supply are documented through our energy provider.

Solar thermal collectors installed on the warehouse roofs convert solar energy into usable heat. This heat supports the building’s heating and domestic hot-water systems.

Our administrative building in Montabaur provides electric vehicle charging stations for employees, customers and members of management.

One third of our company fleet consists of hybrid and electric vehicles.

For journeys made with our own fleet, we plan routes and vehicle loads to reduce empty trips and unused cargo capacity.

Our second site in Montabaur is home to the Stendebach Outlet. The building uses electricity from renewable sources.

A geothermal system accesses ground-source energy through deep boreholes and supports the heating and cooling of the building.
